PERFECT. PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Omg, so perfect, right down to the tiny details. The way Dean wanted to rip away Sam's belief, ohhh yes, that was exactly what I got from Houses of the Holy. And then how it hurt him when Sam finally started believing him. Aghhh. *wibbles* And how without Sam, he's nothing. Just, beautiful. Wonderful characterization, I can completely imagine Dean having these thoughts. This is so, so, good. I'll probably rec this on my journal after finals are done (I swore to myself I would stay away from LJ until then, but your fic reeled me in). ♥
