Notes: Final response to the St. Valentine's Day 7 Kisses Challenges; for the day 1 prompt: stolen kiss. Just as background: Hermione and Draco are both professors at Hogwarts in this one. :)


Hermione has been told since she was a child that stealing is bad. Her mother had explained the reason to her for the first time when she’d been three, the two of them on the way to the supermarket with Hermione’s hand tightly clasped. That had led to her father telling her about criminals and police officers when she’d been four, and a long-winded discussion about the justice system when she’d turned eight.

At ten, she’d given a speech about the London Metropolitan Police in elementary school.

At twenty, Hermione finds herself pulled into a dark hallway by a certain blond on her way to lunch and kissed until she’s breathless and the world’s spinning around her. Later, she muses that her parents had forgotten to tell her that everything they’d said about stealing applied only to material goods and intellectual property.

Because stolen kisses? Are the best of all.
