Han Geng doesn't get crushes easily. Unlike some of the guys he'd known in high school – the ones who had a new girlfriend every week – he can count his crushes in the last few years on one hand. His romantic life had always been sadly lacking – he'd always been too academically-oriented, too focused on school and good grades and getting into a university his parents would be proud of.

Han Geng doesn't believe in love at first sight. There's no such thing as taking one look at someone and falling in love – that only happens in Korean dramas and childhood fairytales. There is such a thing as taking one look at his roommate's wide wide smile (I'm Siwon, it's nice to meet you) and feeling his heart beat faster though. It's not love. Far from it – just a crush, he tells himself.

He'd never fallen this hard, this fast before.
